TRIPOLI -- The Libyan Anti-illegal Immigration Department on Thursday deported more than 200 illegal migrants to their countries of origin.
According to Nasser al-Khatroushi, head of the Deportation Office of the Anti-illegal Immigration Department, the migrants, who are from Egypt, Niger and Sudan, were deported by land to their own countries. (Libya-Migrants-Deportations)

ADEN -- Three Yemeni government soldiers were killed in the southern province of Dhalea on Thursday in a drone attack launched by the Houthi militia, a military official told Xinhua.
"An explosive-laden drone of the Houthi rebels struck the government's military sites in the northwestern part of Dhalea, leaving three soldiers killed and six others critically injured," the official said on condition of anonymity. (Yemen-Houthi Attack-Casualties)

DAR ES SALAAM -- At least three schoolgirls were killed on Wednesday night and 29 others were injured in a dormitory fire in Tanzania's northern region of Shinyanga, police said on Thursday.
Janeth Magomi, the Shinyanga regional police commander, said the fire razed a dormitory at Buhangija primary school in the Shinyanga municipality, killing three girls and injuring 29 others. (Tanzania-Fire)
