PLANO, Texas: Toyota is recalling 106,061 trucks in the U.S. because of a brake fluid leak that could make it harder to stop and increase the risk of a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The recall affects specific 2024-2025 Tacoma four-wheel drive models.
The NHTSA said mud and dirt can collect near the rear brake hose, causing damage and leading to a brake fluid leak.
Toyota dealers will replace both rear brake hoses for free.
